March for Life 2022

St. Bernard March for Life 2022

Who’s it for?

The annual March for Life is open to any St. Bernard parishioner student who is presently in high school. Accepted students need to reserve their spot on the trip by making a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $125 made payable to St. Bernard Parish (if by check).

When is it?

The trip departs from Milwaukee by air on January 19, arriving in Washington D.C and returning Sunday, January 23. The March for Life has impacted the faith life of many students over the years who have found it to be a life changing event.

About

Our parish will take 14 students total this year to the March for Life in Washington DC. We will join up with 100's from the Diocese of Green Bay and 100,000's from across the United States, marching in witness to the reality of the child in the womb and the tragedy of abortion. Abortion has taken the lives of tens of millions of persons in the United States. Countless lives and families and marriages have been deeply wounded. We march for healing, life and the restoration of rights for unborn children.

What else do we do?

The pilgrimage also includes days of prayer, fasting and fun over the course of our five days. Housing is provided as is food. Minimal spending money will be needed for such things as snacks, METRO and souvenirs. Sites seen have included our national war monuments, Lincoln Memorial, Smithsonian Museum, National Archives, United States Capital, National Holocaust Museum, the Verizon Center with 60,000 students for Mass, Air and Space Museum among others. We do as much as we can considering weather and time commitments. It is a great adventure in friendship, faith and discovery.
